I've been posting recipes of food, so wanted to change it up and share this homemade version of body moisturizer. Easy to make and gives you super smooth skin.
Store bought lotions and cremes are unfortunately, filled with chemicals and toxins that when absorbed into your skin can disrupt your immune system. It's important to remove as many toxins as possible from your body, so try this healthier version of moisturizer with coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba oil and your favorite essential oils.
1/2 cup coconut oil
4 Tsps raw shea butter
1 tsp vitamin E oil (jojoba)
A few drops of your favorite essential oils
Lemongrass & grapefruit
Lavender & peppermint
Peppermint & Orange
Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl (do not melt coconut oil first)
Mix on high speed with a wire whisk 5-6 minutes or until whipped into a light, airy consistency
Store in a sealed container for 24 hours to let set and place in refrigerator overnight
